Excellent homestyle food. Not a fancy place by any means but it has a nice ambience and they play a lot of oldies which are my favorite!
Simply said, they serve up some good food here. The place itself is not too large and a bit cramped, but they set up the tables fairly well so you can navigate your way around without too much trouble. They have a good range of dishes on the menu and I personally have yet to have something here I didn't like. The house dressing they use for salads is really good. The garlic bread comes out a bit different than what I'm accustomed to as it looks like a pizza, but it is really good and glad I got it. The service is very friend and they are actually pretty quick in getting things to the table. I seem to be getting into the habit of going to the two pubs right next door and then coming here for dinner.
I had a fantastic meal here on a rainy night, sitting at the bar. All the traditional Italian stuff is offered, and I had spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread. An awesome, simple meal at a great price.
This is one of the oldest Italian restuarants in Sheffield or at least it feels like it, it has a good atmosphere and traditional decor. Its in a great location for a pre or post theatre meal, though you would need to book so's not to be disappointed. The food is good and not bad priced either. The garlic bread here is absolutely delicious, you must try it. There's also the famous fruit pizza, yes fruit, i've not actually tried it yet but one of my friends loves it and has it everytime she goes.
This is the best Italian. Every time I come to Sheffield from the USA, I stop in a few times to enjoy what they create
